Birthdays, those wonderful occasions that you spend all year looking forward to as a child, and then as an adult, you start wishing your birthdays went backwards so you could get younger!  As we go through life, if we are lucky, we hit several milestone birthdays like 1st, 10th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th and so on.  Naturally, we tend to celebrate these milestone birthdays a little more than the birthdays we have in between.  Celebrations take many forms; big surprise parties, weekends away, big gifts, personalised gifts, once in a lifetime holidays, the list goes on.
