Well 2021 got off to a challenging start with schools being closed due to the covid-19 pandemic, which meant parents all across the country (including me!) were juggling attempting to home school their children and work or run a business simultaneously! And for any parents reading this, you’ll know trying to achieve that is no joke! As I write this blog now, I am hoping and praying schools will be reopening this week after the Christmas break – keep your fingers and toes crossed!
Anyway, we battled through and survived the home schooling, just! In March this year we were incredibly proud to launch our latest beautiful collection of jewellery encasing a little of your pet’s precious pet fur or cremation ashes in stunning silver and resin. We had had many enquires for this style of jewellery and it’s something we had been working on for a while in the background to ensure we got everything just right.
We launched in March and are so pleased you all loved our beautiful new designs. It has been a huge honour to create so many very special pieces of jewellery over the last 9 months. So far the most popular jewellery designs have been the paw print pendant, heart shaped charm bead, heart pendant and star pendant. Seeing all the lovely words you have chosen to have engraved on these special jewellery designs has been lovely. Luke at Vince Ayris Engraving Centre in Swindon has worked his socks off to bring you truly stunning engraving on your jewellery.
A little bit later on in the year, we re-launched our inkless paw print kits to include beautiful frames so that you can frame your furbaby’s unique paw prints that you capture along with your favourite photo of them. After much searching we found the perfect frames with a lovely double mount so that both paw prints and a photo can be displayed together. The frames also come with safety perspex instead of glass so they are safer to post and safer in your house as well with wagging tails and curious cat paws! There are two colour options to choose from; French oak effect and brushed silver. Paw print kits now include two A4 sheets of inkless paper so you have more room to capture paw prints.
Also in 2021 we launched the opportunity for pet related businesses such as pet boutiques, dog groomers, vets and other pet related business to purchase our inkless paw print kits with premium frames on a wholesale basis. You can find out more information about this by clicking on our wholesale page.
You may or may not have noticed that despite rising supplier and overhead costs we held our prices frozen throughout 2021 and we hope to continue this for as long as possible.
Thank you for all of your support this year and for the last nearly 13 years, it is very much appreciated.
Wishing you all a pawsome New Year!
