Wishing you all a very happy Christmas from Cheeky Little Prints HQ. It’s been a tough year for everyone, all around the world in fact, not just in the UK. So many challenges to face coming from all directions, but if you are reading this then you have managed to get your way through and I am sure you can keep getting your way through whatever challenges come our way next.
Christmas is likely to be different to what we would have liked or even planned wherever you are living at the moment. There is understandably a lot of sadness and disappointment and it’s ok to feel like this. Hopefully with a bit of time we will all see that these temporary measures and restrictions are necessary and won’t last forever. We can all get through this by sticking together, helping each other in whatever way we can. Check in on friends, family and neighbours, especially if you know they are on their own, are they vulnerable, do they need a bit of shopping, would a phone call brighten their day?
Whatever your Christmas looks like, please try to make the most of it, treasure whatever family moments you can have, whether that be a short face to face visit, a door step chat at a 2 metre distance or a video call or a phone call. Cuddle your furbabies extra tight, it really does help to relieve stress, reduce your blood pressure and helps release your happy hormones – we could all do with more of those right now. Take your lovely dogs for some long winter walks and get some much needed fresh air. And remember, reach out for help, it’s actually a strength to ask for help, it’s certainly not a weakness.
We really do hope you can have a happy Christmas in whatever way you spend it.
