Choosing The Right Jewellery

What Is The Difference Between Paw Print And Raised Paw Print Necklaces?

What is the difference between paw print and raised paw print necklaces?

Here at Cheeky Little Prints we offer 2 different styles of paw print necklaces and jewellery so we thought we would explain a little more about each to help you choose the best design for you.  A range of charms for bracelets, necklaces, cufflinks and keyrings are available for both styles of jewellery.  Capturing your furbaby’s unique paw print in silver to keep with you wherever you go is a memory making experience you will treasure forever.  Imagine keeping a part of your furry friend with you wherever you go, even during those times when they can’t be by your side wagging their excited tail and purring…

Paw print necklaces

Silver paw print necklaces and jewellery showcase your cat, dog or guinea pig’s actual unique paw print imprinted into the silver.  You furbaby’s paw print is captured by you in the comfort of your own home with an easy to use inkless paw print kit.  Simply snap a photo and upload your paw prints to our website where they will be checked and any extra furry bits tidied up.

Your pet’s unique paw print is then proportionately reduced in size and a special stamp is created exactly the right size for the jewellery design you have chosen.  An exact copy of your furry friend’s paw print is then imprinted into the silver.  Various stages of creation happen to then produce your stunning sterling silver necklaces and jewellery featuring your pet’s actual paw print imprinted into the silver!

Small silver paw print charm with charm carrier

This is our most popular style, and designs highlight your furbaby’s unique paw print with antiquing detail that is applied during it’s creation to give a good contrast between the paw print and the shiny silver.  Silver imprint paw print necklaces and jewellery are handcrafted and polished to a high shine and looks simply stunning when worn on a silver chain, bracelet or as cufflinks or perhaps a treasured keyring you keep with you always.

Raised paw print necklaces and jewellery

Our collection of raised paw print necklaces and jewellery was launched a few years ago and has several differences to our original paw print designs.  Your furbaby’s paw print is raised up in the silver, giving you a very tactile design.  Imagine being able to feel your pet’s unique paw print beneath your fingertips, raised in the silver, as you touch your bespoke jewellery that has been created just for you.  Jewellery designs featuring your furry friend’s unique paw print raised up in the silver are particularly popular with pet owners who have impaired sight as they can feel their furbaby’s unique print anytime they want to.

Regular raised paw print charm

The same inkless print kits are used to capture your pet’s unique paw prints regardless of whether you would like imprint or raised paw print necklaces and silver jewellery designs.  Most of our jewellery is available in both imprint and raised print styles.  Raised paw print necklaces and jewellery contrast to the imprint designs as they have a unique texture instead of a smooth high shine finish.  A different polishing method and tools are used to finish off jewellery designs with raised paw prints to give them their shiny textured feel.

Be inspired by the beautiful collection of paw print necklaces and jewellery designs available in our shop and please get in touch if you have any questions, we will be delighted to help you.
