Choosing The Right Jewellery

Personalised Jewellery – What Size Charm Do I Choose?

Choosing the best personalised jewellery design for you

Personalised jewellery is a popular gift choice but it’s not always easy to know which jewellery design or charm size to choose.  In this blog we will run through which charm sizes are most suitable for different types of jewellery and why.  If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch and we will be happy to help you.  You can use our live chat on this website between 9am and 6pm or leave us a message and your email address and we will get back to you asap.

Small charms

Our beautiful selection of small charms are available in heart, circle, flower or cut out in the shape of your furbaby’s paw print.  Small personalised jewellery charms are perfect for wearing on a charm bracelet or on a chain to create a dainty necklace.  The other option would be to have a small charm with a charm carrier, so that you can add your beautiful paw print charm to your “Pandora style” bracelet and always keep your furbaby with you forever.  All small charms feature your furry friend’s unique paw print on the front and their name hand inscribed on the back.

Regular charms

Regular silver paw print and raised paw print charms are best suited to wearing on a sterling silver chain or leather cord.  Occasionally some pet owners do opt for a regular size charm to go onto a bracelet but usually smaller charms are a better size for bracelets, it’s down to personal choice.  There is a little more room on the regular charms and most shapes can accommodate your furbaby’s paw print and their name hand inscribed on the front of the charm.  This then leaves room for a special date or few words on the back of the personalised jewellery charm.

Regular charms are available in many shapes; heart, curved heart, circle, oval, star and cut in the shape of your pet’s unique paw print.  The star and cut out shapes only have room to inscribe your furbaby’s name on the back so there isn’t really room for a date or extra inscription on those designs, so please bear that in mind when choosing.

Large charms

Pet parents who have 2 or more furbabies may prefer our large charms which have enough room for 2 paw prints on the front and names hand inscribed on the back.  Choose from a large heart, curved heart or dog tag charm.  We also have a long thin rectangle charm that can fit 3 paw prints on the front and names on the back depending on the length of your pet’s names.  Your personalised jewellery is handcrafted with great care and attention to detail to ensure everything is just right for you.

Keyrings

Our beautiful range of sterling silver keyrings are ideal for pet parents who don’t tend to wear personalised jewellery often or who perhaps can’t wear jewellery at work.  Carrying your furbaby’s unique paw print with you in the form of a stunning keyring means you and your furbaby are never apart.  Regular paw print keyrings showcase one paw print and name, whereas our large keyrings have room for two paw prints and names, choose whichever option best suits your furfamily.

Cufflinks

Capturing your furbaby’s unique paw prints or paw pad prints in a pair of stylish silver cufflinks, means you can always keep their paws close to yours.  Our sterling silver cufflinks can showcase your furry friends unique paw prints, raised paw prints or even the texture or your dog’s paw pad prints so you can keep your furbaby with you forever.  Cufflinks are available in square, circle or cut out in the shape of your pet’s paw print.  Simply choose your favourite stylish personalised jewellery design, place your order and we will send you your print kit so we can get started.
