The pawfect wedding!

Bringing the family together…

Weddings are such a happy occasion, full of joy, bringing families and friends together to celebrate.  Summertime is a particularly popular time for weddings, with the sunshine adding that extra sparkle to the wedding photos.  Even though weddings are big family occasions, it’s not always possible for all family members to attend.  This is particularly the case when it comes to our fur family.  Our precious pets mean the world to us and we love to spend as much time as possible with them.

Venues are becoming increasingly pet friendly, meaning more pets are able to attend weddings and it is becoming more popular.  However, in cases where the wedding venue is not pet friendly or perhaps it’s not practical or possible for your pet to attend your wedding for health reasons, how can you include your pet in your wedding?  Well there is a way, and Joanne set about making it possible for their family dog, KT, to join them when her Brother got married earlier this year 🙂

Thinking outside the box…

“My brother was getting married and we would have all loved our family dog, KT, there (especially as she loves my brother the most!), but it wasn’t possible. Then I remembered some friends had worn their pets paw print charms on their bracelets for their weddings so I suddenly thought my brother could use it as a coin and keep it in his wallet so KT could be with him when he tied the knot! My brother was so surprised and he loves it so much.”

With time running out though, Joanne needed to act quickly if she was going to make her dream come true and have part of KT at her Brother’s wedding.

“I messaged Cheeky Little Prints after a Google search and Lisa replied that same evening saying she could make it happen in my very short timeframe – I was so pleased! The kit arrived after 1 working day and it was great that I could just take a photo of the prints and email it over to Lisa to begin her masterpiece. Thank you so much!”

Hush, hush operation…

So with the order placed, Joanne and I arranged for the paw print kit to be sent to Joanne’s parents house where KT lives.  The kit arrived quickly and Joanne sent me a photo of KT’s prints within a couple of days so I could get started.  I set about preparing KT’s paw print and sent a proof for Joanne to approve.  I worked on preparing a stunning silver charm showcasing KT’s special paw print and her name hand inscribed.  The finished charm was posted to Joanne’s parents a few days before the wedding.

A pawfect surprise…

The day of the wedding arrived and Joanne presented her Brother with his surprise gift and he was over the moon with it!

“My brothers wedding went amazingly thank you. He absolutely loved his charm! It almost brought a tear to his eye which doesn’t happen very often! Thank you again. “

Here is a lovely photo Joanne sent me of KT and her special silver paw print charm 🙂
