World Braille Day was celebrated a couple of days ago on 4th January, which is Louie Braille’s birthday. Louie Braille invented the tactile writing system back in 1824! Interesting stuff. Following World Braille Day it got us thinking about the features and benefits of our raised silver paw print jewellery range and how it is the perfect gift for pet owners who are visually impaired or blind. I can’t even begin to imagine what is must be like to be visually impaired or blind, to have to adapt to a totally new way of life is a huge task. Not being able to see your loved ones and pets would be heart breaking.
Our range of stunning sterling silver raised paw print jewellery has become quite popular for many reasons. Due to the way it is created the shiny silver has a slight texture to it. This range of jewellery is unique and not readily available (most paw print jewellery companies only create jewellery with imprints of pet’s paw prints, which we also create a lot of). The most compelling benefit of our raised paw print jewellery is how tactile it is. Pet owners love running their fingers over the silver feeling the details of their pet’s unique paw print raised up in the silver. Being able to feel all the details beneath your fingertips is so powerful and makes you feel very close to you pet even when they are not by your side meowing and wagging their excited tail!
The incredibly tactile nature of our silver raised paw print jewellery got us thinking that it really is the perfect gift for pet owners who want to feel close to their pet and are visually impaired or blind. Wearing a beautiful piece of jewellery that showcases their pet’s unique paw print gives a lot of comfort and enables them to keep a part of their pet with them wherever they go and actually feel their furbaby’s unique paw print beneath their fingers.
We can also create silver raised paw print jewellery for pet owners if their pet is no longer with them. All we need is a photo of a paw print you have taken previously (it doesn’t have to have been taken using one of our inkless kits, any type of paw print is fine). We can even take a paw print from a photo of your pet’s actual paw or perhaps you have paw prints left in play dough, fimo clay, concrete or even snow? We have created silver paw print jewellery with all of these types of paw prints so please don’t worry if your pet is no longer with you, we can still work with you to create a beautiful and lasting memory of your furbaby. We often create memorial paw print jewellery for pet owners and it brings them much comfort.
A range of jewellery designs are available and if you see something you like but it’s not quite right, please get in touch and we will do our best to create what you are looking for, we are very adaptable. We can capture your pet’s unique paw print in a range of sterling silver charms of different sizes and shapes as well as keyrings and also cufflinks. Capturing your pet’s unique paw print is nice and easy with our inkless paw print kits. Be inspired by our stunning designs here.
