13 years of capturing your memories

Helping you capture your memories for 13 years

Have we helped you capture your special memories over the years?  April is a very special month for Cheeky Little Prints, because back in April 2009, Cheeky Little Prints was born.  Lisa decided to set up the business when her little boy Ollie was just 10 months old!  Ollie is now taller than Lisa and will be 14 this June.  Even Jake who is 12 is taller than Lisa now!  The business looks very different now to when it first started but the fundamental goal has always remained the same, to help you capture your special memories.

Lisa capturing your special memories creating silver paw print jewellery

In the beginning Lisa focussed on helping parents capture their little one’s fingerprints, hand and footprints in silver jewellery.  Then in 2012 she began to get enquires for paw prints so set about learning how to capture your pet’s unique paw prints in silver jewellery.  To help you all capture more memories Lisa expanded the range in 2011 to include a large range of ceramic keepsakes, all hand painted with your little one’s hand and footprints and hand painted lettering.  Even though the ceramics were very popular, they were discontinued in 2017 to allow Lisa to focus on the jewellery.

Capturing your special pet memories

As time went by, more and more pet owners were getting in touch wanting their furbaby’s unique paw prints captured in silver jewellery so they could keep their pet with them forever.  Having been an animal lover all her life and a former Veterinary Nurse, Lisa especially loved working with pets and their owners to make and capture lots of very special memories.  In early 2019 plans were drawn up to focus the business on pets, the website was redesigned and new pet specific jewellery designs were introduced.

Most keepsake jewellery companies create jewellery with fingerprints, hand, foot and paw prints, it’s rare to find a company that specialise purely in pets, which is exactly what Lisa does at Cheeky Little Prints – the go to place for silver paw print jewellery and pet keepsakes.  Find out more about the first 10 years of Cheeky Little Prints’ journey in our other blog.

Special memories with pet fur and cremation ashes

More recently in March 2021, Lisa introduced the newest range of keepsake jewellery.  Silver jewellery carefully encasing a little of your pet’s precious fur or cremation ashes so you can keep your furbaby with you, close to your heart forever.

Each bespoke piece of jewellery is carefully created by adding tiny individual strands of fur or tiny pieces of cremation ashes to thin layers of resin.  Once a layer is finished it is cured and set before the next layer is carefully created.  This beautiful collection of jewellery has been such a comfort to many pet owners already and we look forward to continue creating these truly unique treasures for you.  There will be some stunning new designs released soon so watch out for those.

What’s next?

So what’s next for Cheeky Little Prints?  Well, we believe there are a lot more memories to capture and treasure so our main focus will be helping pet parents keep their pets with them forever.  We are working on some exciting ideas for new products and also developing a way for you to get involved as well, so you can help spread the word so we can help more pet parents and earn yourself some cash whilst doing it.

Is there something you would like to see us create for you?  If so please get in touch and let us know and we will certainly look into it for you.
