This breaks my heart every time I see it happen

I want to talk to you today about something that is happening more and more at the moment and it breaks my heart every time I see it.  I keep seeing lots of Facebook posts from pet owners who are incredibly upset because their pet is really poorly or they have had to say goodbye :'(  This can be for a number of reasons.  Quite a few of these pets are older but some of them are still young and it is just heart breaking to see so many pet owners going through so much heartache.

 

I know myself, I’m a cat owner and lost our beautiful tabby cat Tiger (pictured below).  Tiger was cruelly taken from us very suddenly and without any warning and she was just 4 and a half years old.  Losing Tiger really brought home to me the fact that none of us know what is around corner and we need to live life now.  You can read Tiger’s story in another of our blogs.  It does literally break your heart because they really are part of the family.

 

I wish I had known before

I know that we can’t prevent our pets passing away, they don’t live forever, none of us do unfortunately.  The thing that really upsets me the most is so many people come up to me and say I really wish I’d have known about you before I lost my cat last year.  Or I lost my dog 6 months ago and had I have known about Cheeky Little Prints I would have come to you and asked you to take my dogs paw print.
